NOTES: Sporting a pedigree stacked with an astonishing 22 different ABBA Registers of Renown, this heavily pigmented style-bending American Brahman bull is unlike any other on the market. Born and bred in the Southernmost tip of Texas, LMC LF POLLED ERN 192/5 TWIN (P) is a true moderate framed ‘drought-buster’. Even in the harshest pasture conditions, Ern maintains his excellent body condition while successfully servicing his herd. Every year Ern goes through the same 3 colour phases. In the Winter he is solid black, nose to tail. In the Spring he is black on the ends with like a gold middle filled with snowflakes. During the Summer the gold turns light grey and he strongly resembles Mr. V8 380/6. Actual calving birthweights range from 25-35kg while achieving superior growth. Ern registers in the top 55% for 12 out of 16 EPDs, highlighted by the top 10% marbling, top 15% weaning weight, top 25% yearling weight and total maternal, and top 35% for calving ease. Ern's Sire, LMC POLLED MADISON 133/0 (P), has had several sons and grandsons excel at the highly competitive ABBA Performance Bull Tests, of which two have gone on to be sale toppers for this program for two of the most recent sales. Ern is an excellent bull to use on heifers and has a perfect record (26 for 26) of producing Polled calves, even while using 12 different horned cows. Ern is easy handling in both the pasture and the crush and produces vigorous, well-mannered offspring that have commanded an impressive average of $10,000USD per calf post-weaning over the last two years.
