Rocky Repro is Queensland’s most comprehensive bovine reproduction centre, centrally located at Alton Downs just 17kms from Rockhampton, the beef capital of Australia.
The founding partners of Rocky Repro, Ced and Rowena Wise and Tim and Sally North, have over 120 combined years of bovine reproduction and industry experience.
Rocky Repro was recently solely acquired by the newly launched Wise Repro; the nucleus of a multitude of bovine artificial reproduction services. The new name and entity have been established to provide a collaboration across the range of services, delivered by the group, providing the most comprehensive range of bovine reproduction services to cattle producers. In turn, creating and ensuring a sustainable future for the cattle industry by facilitating the advancements through genetic gain. Chairman of Wise Repro, Ced Wise, one of the pioneers of Multiple Ovulation Embryo Transfer (MOET) in Australia in the 1980’s has continued to expand the assisted reproduction services, across different technologies, offered throughout the businesses across Australia and abroad.
